Why a White Wedding Dress?!

Queen Victoria started the Western world’s white wedding dress trend in 1840 when she married Prince Albert. Before then, brides simply wore their best dress! However, In Japan, white was always the colour of choice for bridal ensembles – long before Queen Victoria popularised it in the Western world.

Today the white wedding dress is still a strong choice, but some decide to opt for more unconventional and colourful options!
